Mystery Deepens Over Mountain Range Under Ice in Antarctica

Scientists have finally mapped the hidden mountain range under the ice in Antarctica.

This is yet another reason why I don’t mind global warming…. once all the ice melts from Antarctica, besides becoming a great spot for real estate investment and tourism, archaeologists are going to have a field day digging into the depths of mountain ranges searching for relics of a distant past to try to piece together this geological puzzle.

“It all adds to the mystery - from the tectonic perspective of how these mountains were created; and from the glacial history perspective of how the East Antarctic ice sheet was formed and didn’t erode these peaks.”

The only problem I have is the name of the mountain range - The Gamburtsevs… why couldn’t it be something catchy or clever. Boo mountain range naming commitee, boo….

The Sky is Falling in Texas, is it Debris or UFO?

Ok, from what I read on twitter as it was happening, it seemed like the satellite debris that we were all warned about a few days ago decided to re-enter thea earth’s atmosphere, no big deal. HOWEVER, after looking at the footage below, it looks like the ‘debris‘ could have actually been some a type of airborne craft. It cast enough doubt in my mind that I had to post it here, in the interest of getting to the bottom of this before it gets blown out of proportion by skeptics and theorists alike.

Before you go calling me a tin-foil hat wearing invalid, watch the 33 seconds of footage below a few times for yourself.

Footage of the ‘debris’ is embedded below. (Original post here)
